Southwick is a small town west of Brighton. Southwick has a busy industrial area mainly at the harbour, south of Brighton Road. To the north of Brighton Road and up to Old Shoreham Road the majority of the homes are mainly residential properties dating from the middle of the nineteenth century to the 1950’s. Further north of Old Shoreham Road up to the South Downs houses built in more recent times.
Southwick Square, situated in the centre of Southwick, is an open air shopping centre home to traditional local businesses as well as some larger chain shops. Adjacent to Southwick Square you’ll find Southwick Community Centre and also Southwick Library.
